Minimum Identifiers
To join the Fat Duck Gaming FiveM server, you must have a minimum set of identifiers linked to your FiveM/Cfx.re account. These identifiers help us verify who you are and keep the community safe.
You need both of the following:
- A verified Discord account linked to your FiveM client
- At least one of: Steam, Xbox / Microsoft Live, or a Cfx.re account
Discord (Mandatory)
Discord is mandatory. You must have Discord linked to your FiveM account and be verified in the FDG Discord server before you can join.
Step 1 — Link Discord to FiveM
FiveM automatically detects and links your Discord identity when Discord is running on your computer at the same time as FiveM. Make sure Discord is open before you launch FiveM.
Step 2 — Verify in the FDG Discord
You must also verify your Discord account inside the FDG Discord server. Follow the steps on the How to Connect page to complete verification.
Steam, Xbox / Microsoft Live, or Cfx.re Account (At Least One Required)
In addition to Discord, you need at least one of the following platform accounts linked to your FiveM session.
Steam
Make sure the Steam client is open and you are logged in before launching FiveM. FiveM detects your Steam identity automatically when Steam is running.
- Open the Steam application and sign in to your account.
- Launch FiveM — your Steam identity is automatically detected.
Xbox / Microsoft Live
Make sure the Xbox app (or Microsoft Store / Game Bar) is open and you are signed in before launching FiveM.
- Open the Xbox app (or sign in to your Microsoft account via the Xbox Game Bar —
WIN + G). - Launch FiveM — your Xbox / Microsoft Live identity is automatically detected.
Cfx.re Account
If you don't use Steam or Xbox, you can log in with a Cfx.re account directly inside FiveM.
- Open FiveM.
- On the FiveM main menu, click the profile icon or navigate to
Settings. - Select Sign in with Cfx.re and follow the on-screen prompts to log in or create a free account at forum.cfx.re.
- Once signed in, your Cfx.re identity will be linked automatically.
